History The Fiore Family has been a part of the Blair County business community since 1937. Fiore Buick GMC is a sales and service award winning General Motors dealership. The Fiore's are committed to giving back to a community that has been very good to them. Awards The General Motors Mark of Excellence 2010, 09, 08, 06, 05 & 04 for outstanding customer satisfaction awarded for each franchise individually (Buick and GMC). The Buick Motor Division Best In Class 1996, 97 & 98 for excellence in customer satisfaction and sales goals. Community In the 80's and 90's we sponsored the annual Riviera Drawing for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters. The Fiore's are one of the founding members of the Fiore Family Golf Outing which benefits Easter Seals of Central PA. This annual event which started in the 90's has raised over $250,000. We have donated up to $10,000 annually to Operation Our Town to help make our community safe and drug free. We also support many organizations that do great work in our community such as; The Mishler Theatre, United Way, Blair Concert Chorale, Little League, Mansion Park Basketball, Local Fire and Police Departments, State Police, Area High schools, Churches and Colleges.
Anthony (Chub) Fiore founder of Fiore Buick in 1970 has been involved in the automotive industry since 1937. After WWII Chub and his brother Jay became partners in servicing automobiles and Brockway Trucks at Beale Ave. and 24th street. In 1950 they started Fiore Motors and Electric, where Chub serviced and installed the TV's and antennas. In 1954 Chub got back to his first love, automobiles, becoming the Hudson Dealer on Margaret Avenue. In 1956 he began a long association with Lincoln Mercury as their dealer for 14 years. In 1970 he was selected as the Buick Dealer for Blair County. Chub's sons Dave and Dan became partners in the Buick dealership in 1980. In 1990 Dave and Dan purchased the Toyota VW and Audi dealership with Dan as the Dealer. Dave and Dan remain partners in Fiore Buick with Dave as Dealer at Buick since 1990. In 2004 they purchased the GMC Franchise to become Fiore Buick GMC at the Buick location of 808 Logan Blvd. Altoona PA |
